We had a really lovely stay at the River Cottage, thank you so much for having us!

Pros: The cottage was comfortable and cosy in a fantastic location, very accessible. The view from the window over the river was lovely.

Cons: A bit pricey for my budget. But we were a couple if 6 people well worth it.

All round great

Pros: Deceptively spacious after you navigate the unusual layout. Plenty towels, comfy beds, superb location and views. Would stay again, preferably for a bit longer so I can enjoy the fabulous communal area a bit more! Great value for a three room / six person stay.

Cons: Early check out, and cleaners arrived sharp on 10am, so had to move car to multistorey. Another hour and we could have strolled into town for a coffee and breakfast before our journey home, which would have been nice.

Beautiful cottage by the water

Pros: River Cottage is a beautiful place to stay. Location is so close to everything and the view from the front of the cottage overlooks the river and is lovely to just sit and relax.There is a large bedroom upstairs with ensuite and 2 double bedrooms with bathroom on another level. Great for families or group of friends. I would definitely book again. Just a caution for people with mobility problems the stairs might be a bit hard to manage.

Pros: Everything. House was quirky, kids loved it. Perfect location. Clean and tidy, kitchen really nice and had everything we needed. Loved the views! So easy, parking was no problem. Would love to come back again in future.

Home away from home

Pros: Location. A stone's throw away from the Inverness station and town centre. The cottage is just by the river bank. The scenery from the windows is beautiful. Love sitting by the window watching the gulls fly, like dancing in the sky.

Cons: We were incompetent in adjusting the thermostat. Our bad, we are from a tropical country, Singapore. 😂

Pros: Lovely, cosy house in a perfect location. The rooms on different levels added character, the kids loved it. Good facilities, clean, tidy and the log burning fire was a special bonus. Good communication with hosts as well.
