Lovely, homely, comfy, clean \u0026 warm

Pros: We loved EVERYTHING about the en-suite garden room! It was warm, quiet, super-clean, safe and very private. Parking was in the private driveway off of the quiet residential road, so it was quick to get our luggage in and out. The shower was lovely and warm with plenty of water pressure. There was a selection of tea, coffee, etc, and real milk in the fridge which was lovely, thank you. Now for the bed…. this bed was the comfiest bed I have slept on in my life!!! It was like sleeping on a cloud. If you’re looking for a lovely, comfy, safe place to stay then this is the one for you. We will most certainly be back! Thank you so much for a lovely nights stay.

It was perfect for our overnight stay.

Pros: It had everything you needed and more, I was really surprised how well equipped it was. Very comfortable bed and quiet area. Will definitely be looking to book again when we need to come down.

Pros: The host was wonderful, and access to room was made simple by a text sent. Facilities were amazing with lots of tea and coffee, plenty of milk, and even cereal.

A little gem

Pros: Absolutely everything, great location, clean , a little gem , be proud of your yourselves,

A great stay in a nice and convenient location, we felt happy there.

Pros: The hosts had been very thoughtful about all our needs. So many details had been thought about and provided in imaginative ways for quite a compact room. Eg, there was a fridge, folding stools and table and almost anything else you could think of. The slight downside was finding surface space for any of our things eg. Wash bags in the bathroom, or a book and drink of water on the bedside unit. A smaller bedside lamp could help there. It was a pleasant walk into the centre, we had a great meal in a Turkish Restaurant with equally great service.

Cons: We like to sleep with an open window for some fresh air, the Garden Room did not seem to have a windows which opened or even any with trickle vents, so we slept with the French door open, which made us feel a little vulnerable as anyone or any animal could have just walked in. it was fine though.

Pros: Good location, quiet zone, about 15 minute walk to the city centre. You have everything you need in the room.

Out of town accomodation

Pros: The room is in someone's back garden so it felt safe. The room was well equipped with a fridge, microwave, hairdryer, en suite, kitchen facilities and tea and coffee making facilities. There was water and cereals also left, although we didn't use them. Bed was comfortable. Didn't need to use the heater. Ensuite was a good size. Access using the key safe next to the entrance of the room so we didn't meet the hosts. It was clean and well kept.

Cons: Price was a lot considering the location of the accommodation as it was about a 20 minute walk into town.

Clean, quiet stay within walking distance of town

Pros: We had a nice little stay here. It was within walking distance of town (10 or so minutes) but far enough away from all the people that parking was easy and convenient. We never saw the hosts while we were there, whether that is a positive or negative for people. We didn't mind at all. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom/shower were modern and clean. It was excellent for a night or two stay. There was also a little toaster, microwave, kettle and some dishes if you wanted to heat anything up. I would for sure recommend this place.

Cons: The only issue we ran into was that the wifi signal was quite weak and dropped a lot unless you weren't sitting next to the front door. It wasn't much of an issue for us though as we had local SIM cards.

Really enjoyed it . Sorry I didn’t meet host though not her fault . Great communication .

Pros: A cooked breakfast wasn’t included but had porridge or cereal available . Also tea, coffee , hot chocolate and biscuits and access to microwave . It was great that it had the cupboard and sink and not just your usual table with kettle on it . Could sit outside table and chair available .

Cons: It was perfect for our stop off.
