Tartan House

A very nice pleasant, clean and convenient place to stay.

Pros: Room was very clean and everything looked new including bed, carpet and decoration. Room 1 had a fridge and microwave and some cutlery/plates. The bathroom looked new and was spacious and clean. The only thing missing from the room was a Television which would have made the stay completely 10/10. I actually rung up the agent to say there was no TV as I thought it might have been removed by a previous tenant and didn't want to be blamed for its absence ! Keys were easy to access via key box outside front door and instructions were received a few days before via Whatsapp. There was no reception and the hotel was close to centre but accessed by foot via a slightly dark stairway which was a bit unnerving on a dark evening on your own (but that's my perception only) Altogether very easy, clean and pleasure to stay at accommodation.

Cons: Only the lack of a television which would have been welcome and maybe having to book out by 10am which was a bit early.

Small, but nice room near the center

Pros: The check-in was easy, instructions to get to the room were clear and detailed. The room was clean and had a kettle (though no socket nearby to put it into). It was also very close to the center and we liked the summer house in the yard (ate our dinner there, actually). There were soaps in the bathroom to use.

Cons: The room was really tiny. Like, so tiny you couldn't open a suitcase on the floor. Since I was there with my mom, it wasn't exactly comfortable. Also the bathroom wasn't accessible directly from the room, but from a tiny hall which had no heating. The bathroom was fairly cold as a result, even though we turned on the bathroom heater (I guess it was for hot water, not for heating - we didn't see any heater in the bathroom either). Bathroom was also tiny. Since we only spent one night there, it wasn't that bad, though.

Great solution for a short stay

Pros: Very comfortable bed and linen, lovely powerful shower, superb mirror lighting, great host communication. Location gabulous, a few minutes wal to all the city's amenities yet a very quiet street

Fab apartment for a short stay in Inverness - perfect location

Pros: Perfect location for getting into town, literally a 5 min walk. Apartment very comfortable and clean - had everything you would need.

Pros: Perfect location in the center of Inverness, Railway Station nearby. Very nice and clean Apartment with a view!

An excellent stay

Pros: Noeli was very helpful prior to our arrival and gave us very clear arrival information. Excellent location a few minutes from the river and town. Tartan was extremely clean, had excellent amenities and a very comfortable bed. Would definitely stay again and will recommend it to all my friends and family.
